The Executive Council would like to announce that the position of Forum Assistant Administrator (AFA) has become vacant.
Allthough the position is advertised as AFA, the successful candidate will form part of the DEVOPS Department
Job Description:
This role is responsible for all forum administrative functions, such as:
-Addition/Removal of mods
-Administration of boards/child boards
-Application of security updates
-Modification of permissions
-Other related forum requests
Any previous experience with PHP and managing forums will be an asset.
This is a demanding position, and requires a suitable amount of availability in order to deal with many requests.
As stated in the IVAO Rules & Regulations, the candidate must fulfill the following basic requirements:
-Be before the end of the submission of candidatures period, at least 21 years old (an ID proof could be requested in case of doubt).
-Be a member of IVAO for at least 6 months before the end of the submission of candidatures period.
In particular, the candidate should:
-Have a deep knowledge of the organisation, its functioning and structure.
-Have leadership capacity and organisational skills.
-Have a clean suspension history.
-Have a fluent capability for speaking and writing in English.
-Have a big commitment with the organisation, its Rules and Regulations and high availability due to the amount of work of the Department.
-Agreed to sign an Non Disclosure Agreement.
In addition, previous experience as staff, be at Divisional or Senior level, would be an asset.
