We would like to announce that the HQ Training department position of Training Assistant Director (TAD) has become vacant.
Therefore, the submission period of candidatures for the positions has opened.
As stated in the IVAO Rules & Regulations, the candidate must fulfill the following basic requirements:
- Be, before the end of the submission of candidatures period, at least 21 years old (an ID prove could be requested in case of doubt).
- Be a member of IVAO for at least 6 months before the end of the submission of candidatures period.
At the moment, we are looking for TAD to fulfill the following tasks in the HQ Training department:
- Definition, approval and regulation of IVAO Pilot and ATC Examination policies, procedures and guidelines
- Definition, approval and regulation of IVAO Pilot and ATC training documentation and other related material
- Definition and regulation of Training Staff Circulars
- Approval of IVAO Trainers, and Approved Examiners in divisions
- Approval of GCA in divisions
- Assist with the establishment of Training staff in new divisions and MCDs
- Evaluation and validation of IVAO Pilot and ATC exams
- Observation and monitoring of high level rating IVAO Pilot and ATC exams
- Delegation of responsibilities
- OTRS Ticket System Management
- Coordination of the HQ Training staff, which include Training Documentation staff, SRTA, HQ Pilots and Division Training staff.
- Hosting of HQ Training staff team meetings
- Dynamic and very active liaison between the Executive and HQ Training( Skype Group is compulsory ).
- Provide recommendations and proposals to the Executive
- Provide status updates and reporting to the Executive
In particular, the candidate should:
- Have knowledge of the organization, its functioning and structure.
- Have a clean suspension history.
- Have a fluent capability for speaking and writing in English.
- Have a big commitment with the organization, its Rules and Regulations.
- Have a proactive attitude and strong drive to improve
- Have strong organizational and coordination skills
- Have strong leadership skills
- Have an innovative mindset and philosophy
In addition, previous experience as staff, be at Divisional or Senior level, would be an asset.
Commercial Pilot (CP) and Centre Controller (ACC) ratings or higher would be an asset.
Already being staff in HQ Training would be an asset
This position is very active and dynamic, and requires someone who is available and active on a daily basis.
