Hi IVAO users,
 
First of all we would like to apologize for not
releasing much information on the current status on the network and why
only few servers, and services are currently working.  We hope you will
understand the reasons and why such delay.
Yesterday (2nd of
September) around 15:00 we started to received some emails from our
monitoring tools alerting about unusual amount of traffic on the network
 in some of ours servers, around 30 minutes later, some of those servers
 get totally unresponsive, and consequently not reachable for all users.
 Although we re-configure the network to isolated those servers, within a
 few hours almost all the other servers where affected by this issue.
This confirmed our suspicion about our network being under attack using
Brute Force against IVAO Network.

Before releasing this statement
 we wanted to be sure that any of our data has not been compromised, and
 that the attack is just a basic DDoS (Denial of Service) and not a
complex and technical one.  During the last hours all Technical Teams 
(Network, Logistic and SoftDev) have been involved and working to find a
 solution, sadly is really complex and not an easy work, so all our
efforts are placed in have some servers running until we can find a
solution.

Meanwhile we would like to apologies for any
inconvenience caused for those attacks, and we hope you understand that
we are doing or best to have it solved as soon as possible.
