Dear members,

The Special Operations department would like to announce hereby that there is one vacant position in their department.

Special Operations Advisor - SOA7.

Position is specific and only in regard to the training/exam project SOD is working on at the moment, that is:
-          Advisor will be responsible to train and examine the members who will request training and exams when the project is finished and released.
-          More clarification on his duties will be done in the future and when the SO exam policies are finished.
-          At this phase and if appointed you will start with your training, this means that you must have free time.
-          With each applicant there will be an interview where more clarifications will be provided.
-          SO experience is preferable.

As stated in the IVAO Rules & Regulations, the candidate must fulfill the following basic requirements:
•         Be, before the end of the submission of candidatures period, at least 18 years old (an ID proof could be requested in case of doubt)
•         Be a member of IVAO for at least 6 months before the end of the submission of candidatures period
•         Have a minimum rating of Advanced ATC Trainee and Private Pilot, (higher ranks are preferable).
•         Have a fluent capability for speaking and writing in English

Next to this, we appreciate that candidates are team-minded, communicative and have a big commitment with the organization, its Rules and Regulations and high availability due to the amount of work of the Department. The candidate should spend a minimum of 5-10 hours per week. Furthermore a good knowledge about SO in general is desirable.
