The submission period of candidatures for the position(s) of Executive Assistant (EXA) to the IVAO Executive Council are now open
The Executive Council are looking for dynamic and pro-active member for this position with a very high level of responsibility and commitment.
As stated in the IVAO Rules & Regulations, the candidate must fulfill the following basic requirements:
- Be before the end of the submission of candidatures period, at least 21 years old (an ID proof could be requested in case of doubt).
- Be a member of IVAO for at least 6 months before the end of the submission of candidatures period.
- The candidate must hold a minimum of an Approach Controller AND Senior Private Pilot ratings.
In particular, the candidate should:
- Have a deep knowledge of the organisation, its functioning and structure.
- Have leadership capacity and organisational skills.
- Have a clean suspension history.
- Have a fluent capability for speaking and writing in English.
- Have a big commitment with the organization, its Rules and Regulations and high availability due to the amount of work of the Department.
- Agreed to sign an Non Disclosure Agreement.
- Previous experience as staff, be at Divisional or Senior level, would be a pre-requisite.
- Previous experience as a Supervisor, would be an advantage.
The general responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the Executive Council to implement policy and rules.
- Supporting the Executive Council to manage disciplinary/suspension actions.
- Supporting the Executive Council with overview of the current network project definitions.
- Supporting the Executive Council with the management, monitoring and support of the divisions.
- Supporting the Executive Council with the management, monitoring and support of the HQ departments.
- Supporting the Executive Council with the management, monitoring and support of the the Supervisor service.
- Supporting the Executive Council with the incident and problem management, and other queries in the ticket system.
- Supporting the Executive Council with investigations and reviews of cases.
- Supporting the Executive Council with input in meetings and discussions.
- Supporting the Executive Council with input to evaluations of new staff candidates and appointments in all applicable staff positions.
- Supporting the Executive Council with the moderation of the forum.
- Supporting the Executive Council with future changes and implementations.
- Supporting the Executive Council with communication to relevant parties.
- Supporting the Executive Council with input to evaluations of proposals and requests.
- Supporting the Executive Council with administrative tasks.
- Supporting the Executive Council with supervising and providing guidance to staff, where required.
- Supporting the Executive Council with any form of documentation.
- Dynamic and very active liaison between the Executive and Executive Assistants ( Skype Group is compulsory ).
- Provide recommendations and proposals to the Executive
- Provide status updates and reporting to the Executive
- Any other task the Executive Council may deem necessary and appropriate.
