The Flight Operations department would like to announce hereby that there is one (1) position vacant in their department.
As stated in the IVAO Rules & Regulations, the candidate must fulfill the following basic requirements:
Be, before the end of the submission of candidatures period, at least 18 years old (proof of ID will be requested in case of doubt).
Be a member of IVAO for at least 6 months before the end of the submission of candidatures period.
Have a minimum rating of Aerodrome Controller and Private Pilot. For obvious reasons, related with the nature of the responsibilities of the position, a higher pilot rating would be an asset.
Have a fluent capability for speaking and writing in English.
In particular, the requirements for FOAx are:
Knowledge about the FO department structure, activities and projects.
Have good communications and organisational skills.
Good knowledge in flight planning and related tasks.
Previous experience in Flight Operation Department (both Senior and/or divisional level) is a plus.
Good knowledge of PHP, MySQL etc is a plus.
Some of FOA tasks are:
Keeping the route database up to date, along with divisional FOC/FOAC.
Keeping the airline database up to date, along with divisional FOC/FOAC.
Planning, organisation and development of FO Department projects.
Divisional Flight Operations team support.
VAs support; check and add new VA, update VA data, logos. Provide information, help and support for VAs creation and daily operations.
Next to this, we appreciate that candidates are team-minded, communicative and have a big commitment with the organization, its Rules and Regulations and high availability due to the amount of work of the Department.
The candidate should spend a minimum of 5-10 hours per week. Furthermore a good knowledge about Flight Operations in general is desirable.
