PILOT TRAINING NETWORK TO TRAIN YOUNG PILOTS FOR TURKISH AIRLINES.

Frankfurt, 15 March 2013
From April 2013, Pilot Training
Network will train one hundred young pilot cadets for Turkish Airlines.
In addition to 15 months of basic training, the package includes a type
rating on the Airbus A320 or the Boeing 737NG. This will take a further
two months, and will be conducted by Lufthansa Flight Training. Turkish
Airlines is a member of Star Alliance and is one of the fastest-growing
airlines in Europe.

The first training course will start in
April. The theoretical training will be held in Frankfurt, while the
flight instruction phases will take place in Vero Beach, Florida and in
Rostock-Laage. The agreement with Turkish Airlines also includes a
number of additional services. ?We have put together an all-round
carefree package for our customers, which includes board and lodging,
transport and other services,? reports PTN Managing Director Holger
Hoffmann. ?That will enable the cadets to concentrate fully on their
training.?

The proximity to the Lufthansa Group played a decisive
role in winning over such a big corporate customer as Turkish Airlines.
?Thanks to our close cooperation with Lufthansa Flight Training, we can
offer our customers an optimally coordinated package comprising ab
initio training and type rating from one source,? explains Karsten
El-Nemr, a member of the PTN Management Board.

Above all, quality
was a key consideration in selecting the training company, as Captain
Sedat Şekerci, Post Holder Training at Turkish Airlines, stresses:
?Pilot Training Network maintains high training standards and thus meets
our expectations in terms of providing high-quality training for our
pilots.?

Trainee pilots for Turkish Airlines have successfully completed
their first theory phase ? second training course starts July 3, 2013

Frankfurt am Main, June 18, 2013
Pilot Training Network has
been training the first 24 of a total of 100 fledgling pilots for
Turkish Airlines since April 2013. Since then, the THY 1 course group
has completed the first theory phase with above-average scores. The
Turkish Airlines trainees are currently completing VFR training at Vero
Beach on the coast of Florida (USA). The second course will begin on
July 3, 2013.

In addition to the 15-month basic training and
subsequent two-month training phase with type ratings on Airbus A320 or
Boeing 737 NG aircraft, the training package for the Turkish Airlines
trainee pilots also includes numerous service benefits, from board and
accommodation to transport.
